When do I get paid?
We pay our sellers on the 15th of every month for all orders that have been shipped during the month prior (e.g. Jan 1st - Jan 31st, regardless of the date orders have been placed). Hardtofind's commission is calculated as a percentage of the value of a product, including the delivery charges applying to that product. We will transfer the payment into the bank account you have provided in your account settings. Please note: Only orders marked as 'Shipped' by the last day of the month will be included in that month's payment
Your invoice can be downloaded from the payment section of your store admin during the first week of each month (click on 'My Store' - 'Payments').
Please ensure your details are up to date at all times.
International Payment Transfer Fee - non-Australian sellers only
Non-Australian sellers (with non-Australian bank accounts) will be charged a AU$5 International Payment Transfer Fee when funds are due.
If you would prefer us to defer your payment to avoid paying the $5 fee on any given month, we are happy to do so. Simply contact firstname.lastname@example.org
How is GST calculated?
All Australian-based sellers need to be registered for GST and GST is included in all applicable sales.
For non-Australian sellers, GST is automatically added to the price of your products (as per the new goods and services tax law passed by the Australian government in July 2018). Hardtofind withholds and remits the GST to the Australian Tax Office (ATO) on your behalf. GST is not added to orders shipped to a non-Australian address.
Hardtofind's commission is calculated as a percentage of the value of a product, including the delivery charges applying to that product, exclusive of GST.
GST is charged on commission if applicable.
